Kayan

What do you think about this name. Does it sound feminine

I like it! It sounds lovely and I like that it could be abbreviated to [name_u]Kai[/name_u].
It does not sound especially feminine to me - [name_u]Kai[/name_u] feels gender neutral and ‘an’ endings feel masculine.
I just realised that I PN it keye-un but do you say kay-un? In which case disregard my Kai associations

Yeah its [name_u]Kay[/name_u]- an

I find it very masculine!

I would spell it Kayann or Kayanne for a girl and to get that pronunciation. I think it looks too much like [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] as it’s spelled. [name_m]Kayan[/name_m] looks like a boy name for sure. Kayann does look/sound feminine and its cute!

Ok, I totally misread this haha. [name_m]Kayan[/name_m] does look masculine!

I read it as [name_f]Cayenne[/name_f] [name_u]Pepper[/name_u]. It seems unisex to me.

Kayan is handsome

Kayan seems masculine to me.

Reminds of Kayam which means turtle in a Mexican dialect. I do see it as a feminine name but I’m biased as the gender for the word turtle in Spanish is female

I don’t think it sounds feminine. It feels different and distinct, but still on-trend. It’s very handsome.
