[name_u]Hazel[/name_u]: my favorite is [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u]. I like the soft, sweet vibe it possesses. [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] is a little too cutesy for me. I like the middle name [name_u]Rae[/name_u] but I find that when you pair it with a first name that has a long A sound it has this cutesy singsongy sound. [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is fine too, but I personally don’t like firsts and middles that run into each other (Hazel Louise)
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]: [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] is lovely!! It’s so elegant and distinct. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] are slightly too wordy for me.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: I prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]. The “Ju” sound is really prominent in both [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] so that combo feels a tad redundant.
[name_u]June[/name_u]: All three of these are really nice! [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] toes the line of being too wordy for me personally but I actually like it. [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is really classy, fun, and unexpected. [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is traditional and sweet.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]: With that longer, three syllable first name I like the balance with the one syllable middle [name_u]June[/name_u].
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]: [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Honora[/name_f] might just be my favorite on your list! Wow, what a beauty.
Seraphine/a: I like [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] a little bit better as a first name (it just feels sleeker and more versatile although [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is good too), but [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is a little redundant in sound, with the -ine -une endings. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] is really fun and bouncy!
I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u], [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u], and [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are my favourites in that order.
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]
Like, vintage but not at all fusty.
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]
[name_u]Love[/name_u], keep!
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u]
Somewhere between keep and nix. I do like the convo very much, it is beautiful. I have reservations because they are two words names, is all.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
See above exactly.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]
Reads as a bit descriptive in a way that [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] does not, so nix. I think violet is much more often used as a colour word than hazel, which makes the difference? [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] is largely restricted to describing eye colour only.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]
Keep, love, keep!
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
Like.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
Like, keep!
[name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Nix[/name_u], only because I like your other [name_u]June[/name_u] combos better.
[name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Colette[/name_f]
Keep!
[name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
Like.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_u]Nix[/name_u] because the long vowel sounds and N ending in both make this not the best flow and sound a bit drawn out (albeit very mystical and pretty)
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
Keep. This is my favourite on your list. The sparky sounds in [name_f]Violet[/name_f] complement Elowen’s luxurious vowels.
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
Like
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Honora[/name_f]
Keep!
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]
Keep!
[name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_u]Nix[/name_u], Not so keep as on your other [name_u]June[/name_u] combos and use of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] with [name_u]Rae[/name_u]. I think it’s the flow of the two N endings that I’m not fond of.
This is such a nice list, I’ve been picky so as to do some nixing which I hope is helpful!
hazel june
violet seraphine
juliet marigold (not the hugest fan though) maybe juliet hazel?
june colette
elowen june
