We heard the name today, looked at each other, and instantly knew we both liked it. I had no idea it was a Bible name! But not classic at all like most of them are. What do you think? Our other girls names are ivy and [name]Cora[/name]. I think kit would be a cute nn
Iām sorry but I donāt like it and I donāt think it goes well with [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Cora[/name]. I agree that [name]Kit[/name] would be a super cute but thereās just something I really donāt like with [name]Keturah[/name]. Though itās a biblical name some can think itās made up or kreative because itās not that known. But hey itās your baby and your name chose so if you really like it then go for it;
I adore the name but I agree that doesnāt really go well with [name]Ivy[/name] or [name]Cora[/name]. With that aside, though, it has a solid sound and beautiful spelling. I really like it!
I like [name]Keturah[/name]! Itās much more obscure than [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Cora[/name], but [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Cora[/name] & [name]Kit[/name] are adorable together.
I love it and I think it goes fine with [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Cora[/name], especially if youād use the nn [name]Kit[/name].
There is a young woman working at our local grocery store named [name]Keturah[/name], I went all giddy inside the first time I saw her name badge read ā[name]Keturah[/name]ā, but I didnāt say anything.
The second time, I actually blurted out, āOMG - I love your name - itās so rare.ā I thought she might look at me like I was some freakoid, but thankfully she smiled and said, āthank you - itās lovely of you to say. I love it myself.ā
Weāve chatted a few times since, when itās been quiet, and there is no-one queuing behind as she serves me. I discovered she has one brother named [name]Nathaniel[/name].
Anyway, I digress, a great name and I say go for it.
I think [name]Keturah[/name]'s lovely. I donāt think goes particularly with [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Cora[/name], but [name]Kit[/name] does.
Itās adorable, but unfortunately doesnāt make a good combo with [name]Ivy[/name] & [name]Cora[/name]
Thanks for all of the input! I was thinking about it, and [name]Keturah[/name] and [name]Cora[/name] just sound too close, and [name]Cora[/name] definitley is the winner of the two! I do think [name]Cora[/name], [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Kit[/name] are soooo cute though! Wondering if I could convince hubby of that
I love [name]Keturah[/name]! I donāt understand how there are so many Sarahs and so few Keturahs. It has a lovely meaning, too. I like [name]Kit[/name] or Ket as a nickname. [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Keturah[/name] would be a very pretty combination, if you prefer to use it in the middle.
