[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!
Which do you prefer: [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] (keer-uh) or [name_f]Clara[/name_f] (claar-uh) or [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and why?
Thank you!
clara she’s so melodic and timeless!!!
[name_f]Kiera[/name_f]. Good influence by someone of that name and also I love it because it’s the most unique!
[name_f]Kate[/name_f], so simple and classic with a bit of strong, sharp sassiness. [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] is a very close second, similar vibes but a little less classic feeling and the multiple spellings is a small downside. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is much softer which is less my thing and I prefer the other pronunciation.
Such a hard choice. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] would be first. it is classic and elegant, yet sweet and spunky too. [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] would be second. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] would be last because I prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
definitely clara! i knew so many kiera’s growing up that i find it boring. clara is so pretty
I would go with [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. it’s an honor name for me so I’m kinda biase on it. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] are also pretty though
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]! [name_u]Bright[/name_u], clear and lovely
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]!
I like the sound, I like the spirit, and u like the way she always seems to fit just right.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] has so much elegance and Euro-coolness.
But you honestly couldn’t ever go wrong with [name_f]Kate[/name_f] either!
On here, I prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and then [name_f]Keira[/name_f] to [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. But in real life I don’t love saying “rah” ending names - I just want to shorten them. As for [name_f]Kate[/name_f], I know over a dozen of them and it hasn’t quite come back to me in the way [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] & [name_f]Emily[/name_f] are starting to.
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]! Such a versatile, timeless, spunky sweet name. Especially as [name_f]Kate[/name_f] in full.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] is just sophisticated and timeless to me. Both [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] feel tied to a particular generation to me, so [name_f]Clara[/name_f] gets my vote.
First of all, I like them all.
I like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] the most, for its timelessness and agelessness.
I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] next, for its vintage vibe.
And [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] has a great sound and modern appeal.
They’re all fine.
I really like [name_f]Kiera[/name_f], with this spelling, but would be worried she’d constantly get [name_f]Keira[/name_f] instead.
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] is cute, but a bit early 2000s, as is [name_f]Kiera[/name_f]. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] feels more current and classic.
I like [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] best, I think. [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is actually kind of sweet.
Clara is definitely my favourite - so beautiful! I find that it has a fresh, bell-like sound. Also, I agree with this:
Kate is bright and snappy, and comes across as “clever” to me! I like it, but it’s definitely a sharper name - not as sweet & soft.
Kiera sounds cute & youthful! I do think spelling could be an issue (Keira, Kira, etc.), but that’s not a deal-breaker. There’s also the Knightley association (depending on the spelling chosen), so that could give it a cinematic tinge.
i love kiera especially spelled like this! clara is also pretty, kate feels overused to me
What would you shorten [name_f]Clara[/name_f] to? Clar?
Thank you! [name_u]Love[/name_u] those thoughts on the names.
Probably [name_f]Clarie[/name_f] (claaarie), [name_u]Clarry[/name_u] or [name_f]Claire[/name_f]!
