Hello! First time poster!
We are having a baby girl in [name_f]October[/name_f]. Her name will most likely be [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]. In the meantime we have the nickname [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. We called my son (named [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Mark[/name_m]) ‘[name_m]Kermit[/name_m]’ until he was born, a bit of a fun tradition until baby arrives.
I am thinking that naming our daughter [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] would be very sweet, but am worried that I may have pregnancy goggles on. My husband isn’t on board with the middle name [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] yet, but I think I could convince him. Other option would be [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], which isn’t as unique.
Thoughts?
Thanks
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a nice name, you have nothing to worry about. [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is kinda bland though.
It’s nms, but [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a sweet combo:) I wouldn’t use [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] anyway, because [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] are too close for a sibset, imo.
I love both but I would choose [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
Thanks for the replies! I think I will try and push for [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. I want something more unique for a middle name, as [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] is in the top 20 (darn!). I might have to do another post asking for middle name suggestions
I would just love the name to have some personal meaning to it
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is an adorable middle name for [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]! You should definitely go for it! I think it pairs well with such a great traditional first name!
I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a super-sweet middle name, (we actually affectionately call our oldest by “her name - [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]” sometimes!) and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] has a great ring to it!
I love [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is adorable! I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] spices up [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] perfectly! The middle spot is great for using something a bit unexpected or slightly out of your comfort zone. I hope you go for it! Good luck!
I actually really like [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]! I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] go really well together, too. [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is really beautiful, and I love both names, but I’m not sure I’d use both [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] for brother and sister, even if one is a FN and the other is a MN. I adore [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], so this is really hard to say, but I think I’d go for [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] regardless. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]!
Good luck!
I think you should definitely do it! Not only is [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] gorgeous, but it’s meaningful to you and will be a sweet story for when she’s older.
