Hello Everyone! I’ve been a loooong time Nameberry lover but this is my first time posting. Give me your thoughts on the name Kit Clover please. We are having our fourth baby and all of our kids have unique, fun names.

[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is all kinds of fabulous! I have a (boy) [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and it’s a great little name – sweet but not too twee, easy for them to learn to read and write, cool but not too much.
I would probably assume girl in combination with that middle name, but as long as you don’t mind that I think it totally works for a boy too.
I really like [name_f]Clover[/name_f] and especially love it for a lucky #4 It’s a nice tie-in with your eldest’s name too, because of the lucky four-leaf clover connection.
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is awesome! With [name_f]Clover[/name_f] as a middle I’d assume it was a girl but if that doesn’t bother you then I say go for it!
That’s interesting, I did not consider [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is usually a girls name. This baby will be a boy. Not that it matters all that much. [name_f]My[/name_f] daughter is voting for [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Casper[/name_m]. I don’t know what to do! I also like the names [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] and [name_u]Watson[/name_u].
It’s a lovely name but thinking of your son I would choose [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_u]Watson[/name_u] or [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] which would read boy. All are nice choices though.
Very cute and definitely fits with your other names. It’s just this side of cutesy for my tastes but is definitely wearable and gives lovely cottagecore vibes. I don’t find it feminine at all-it’s totally neutral and I actually see [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as leaning masculine as it’s usually short for [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] or [name_u]Christian[/name_u].
i’ve always absolutely LOVED [name_u]Kit[/name_u], it’s actually very high up on my list. for so long i thought it’d have to be [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] with the nickname [name_u]Kit[/name_u], but i love that the name is just fine on its own and not just as a nickname. i’m envious that i didn’t come up with [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] first! it’s absolutely lovely with a very boho chic vibe like your other children’s beautiful names.
Editing to say I still love the combo but absolutely assumed it was for a girl. Only noticed it was a boy when I scrolled back up through the comments. I associate [name_f]Clover[/name_f] exclusively with girls because of the [name_f]Katy[/name_f] book series (What [name_f]Katy[/name_f] Did, What [name_f]Katy[/name_f] Did Next etc) where one of her sisters is called [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. That doesn’t mean it can’t be used for a boy though!
I would perhaps use [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Casper[/name_m] for a boy instead of [name_f]Clover[/name_f] but I do still love the [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] combo.
