Could you see this name on a successful adult?
I’m not sure, to be honest, though I think it’s a neat name. Makes me think of M. [name_m]Night[/name_m] Shyamalan! Maybe as a middle with a more traditional first name he could use if he didn’t want to go by [name_m]Knight[/name_m] as an adult?
I actually like it, but I also think it depends on the last name. For instance [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] just doesn’t seem to work, but [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] totally does, if that makes sense. I can see it on a lawyer or a florist, so I think you’re totally safe!
I’m not a fan but I’m not a fan of word names in general.
I love it but I love it in the middle. I’m a fan of anything really can happen in the middle but a more usable first name. So like, [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m] is amazing! Or even for more unusual, [name_m]Damian[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m], [name_u]Dorian[/name_u] [name_m]Knight[/name_m], [name_m]Barnabus[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m] etc. It makes an amazing middle name.
No. Would not look at this resume or go on a blind date with a boy with that name (snap judgment). Sorry.
If you’re in love with the name, I suggest using it for a middle.
I agree with dantea, yes for a middle name
Maybe for a middle name but definitely not as a first.
I grew up with a boy named [name_m]Knight[/name_m] and I thought it was rather odd as a first name, especially considering his surname was the person a knight protects.
As a middle name, it’s okay.
Thanks for the honesty!!
Middle name may be a better place for it then :).
I think it’s okay, I’d definitely rather see [name_m]Knight[/name_m] than Savior or something like that, but I do agree that it depends a good deal on the surname. It could be confusing with [name_m]Night[/name_m] though, and a lot of people would probably think it was like [name_u]Day[/name_u]-and-[name_m]Night[/name_m] rather than a [name_m]Knight[/name_m] in Shining Armor. I pretty much always like it as a middle name.
Thanks for the honesty!!
It might work better in the middle spot :).
