Knight?

[name_m]Ive[/name_m] recently remembered this name I used to like a long time ago! I thought it was a different yet strong name for a boy. What do you think of the name [name_m]Knight[/name_m]? Is it useable? Would it be better in the middle slot? I’d love to hear what the berries think!

It’s a title. Not a name.

I second [name_u]Ren[/name_u]. Its such a title name it just sounds off. Its along the lines of [name_m]Noble[/name_m]. You feel like you will always being saying [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Knight[/name_m] (last name). If you like it a lot then I would keep it as a middle name option.

I think it’s a wonderful name. Feels very romantic, handsome & brave. But agree with the pp that it would be more usable on the middle spot like [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] [name_m]King[/name_m] use it for her son [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Knight[/name_m]. But I wouldn’t think it’s bad or ugly on the first spot.

Good luck

I like the name. I recently came across a post (not here but on Facebook) where someone was interested in naming her son [name_m]Knight[/name_m]. I do like it MORE as a middle name, but would not oppose it as a first name.

I can’t see this as a name either, sorry. Knightley is usable though, and has the great [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] connection.

I don’t particularly like the name, but I think it will do very well in the middle spot. It does seem like a nice quirky middle and I can objectively see the appeal.

I don’t like it as a name at all. If anything I would prefer it as a middle.
