I would cut [name_m]Bram[/name_m], [name_u]Emory[/name_u] and [name_m]Miller[/name_m].
I would narrow it down to these 10:
[name_u]Brady[/name_u]
[name_m]Bram[/name_m]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]
[name_m]Declan[/name_m]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
[name_m]Miller[/name_m]
[name_m]Penn[/name_m] (meh, I like it! I know others don’t, so much, but I was born in Pennsylvania, and I hope to be a novelist someday. [name_m]Penn[/name_m] holds nostalgic associations for me. :))
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
I only truly love the ones I’ve bolded, but my favorite 10 from your list are the ones I listed.
Good luck!
ETA: I really do quite like [name_u]Brady[/name_u], but I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_m]Brody[/name_m], so I feel like [name_u]Brady[/name_u] will never quite measure up. I invariably think of [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u], too. Which is neither good nor bad; I just am not sure I want to immediately think of football (or any sport, really), when I think of a child’s name of mine. I think sports are great; I’m just not that into them, haha.
My least favorites are similar to others: [name_m]Penn[/name_m], [name_u]Emory[/name_u], [name_m]Miller[/name_m] and [name_u]Brady[/name_u]. I’m not a huge fan of either, but I prefer [name_u]Grady[/name_u] to [name_u]Brady[/name_u].
Here’s how I’d order your list, in descending preference:
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_m]Bram[/name_m]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
[name_m]Declan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_u]Emory[/name_u]
[name_u]Brady[/name_u]
[name_m]Miller[/name_m]
[name_m]Penn[/name_m]
I really dislike [name_m]Bram[/name_m] and [name_m]Penn[/name_m], they don’t feel like names and are not good enough imo to be nickname names.
I also I’m not a fan of [name_u]Brady[/name_u], I think of [name_u]Brady[/name_u] bunch and [name_m]Ian[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u].
I’d remove one of these:
[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - I don’t find this a pleasant first name, it’s all surname. Like using [name_m]Smith[/name_m] as a first.
[name_m]Penn[/name_m] - [name_m]Penn[/name_m] is…penis, that’s all I see
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - decline, deck land, I just find it unpleasant.
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m] - will be spelled and pronounced wrong a lot.
These are the ones I like the best! [name_m]Bram[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], [name_m]Milo[/name_m], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
Likes:
[name_m]Bram[/name_m]–I like this one a lot
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]–give the name [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and let him use [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] as a nickname. Please.
[name_m]Miller[/name_m]–This is nice
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]–Cute name, not sure how well it “grows up”
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]–I’m kinda sick of [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], but there’s nothing wrong with either.
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]–Handsome name
Dislikes:
[name_u]Brady[/name_u]–Reminds me of [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u]
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]–I don’t know how to pronounce this
[name_m]Declan[/name_m]–[name_f]Kinda[/name_f] snooty
[name_u]Emory[/name_u]–Yuck
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]–Also kinda snooty
[name_m]Penn[/name_m]–Not much of a name
My favourites in order:
[name_m]Declan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m] (though I prefer [name_m]Miles[/name_m])
[name_m]Bram[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
Ones I’d eliminate:
[name_m]Penn[/name_m] - Stikes me as more of a nn, plus it might be difficult to wear in high school.
[name_u]Brady[/name_u] - [name_m]Ian[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u]. I much prefer [name_m]Brody[/name_m].
[name_m]Miller[/name_m] - All surname for me.
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m] - This spelling had always seemed feminine to me, I think [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] works better.
[name_u]Emory[/name_u] - =[name_u]Emery[/name_u]=emery board…
[name_m]Bram[/name_m] is my least favorite. The rest are great!
[name_u]Brady[/name_u] - I don’t care for this name, reminds me of a daytime soap.
[name_m]Bram[/name_m] - never heard it before, could get used to it.
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] - this for me is cuter as a nickname for a charlotte, or a name for a cocker spaniel. Personal preforance.
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m] - don’t care for it.
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - this one either.
[name_u]Emory[/name_u] - sounds like a girls name.
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] - like this name, but it’s hard to carry!
[name_m]Miller[/name_m] -my favorite on your list!
[name_m]Milo[/name_m] - I know a cat named [name_m]Milo[/name_m].
[name_m]Penn[/name_m] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] it, but again - hard to carry.
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] and [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] are both ok names.
I really don’t like [name_m]Bram[/name_m], it just sounds strange and awkward to me
