Kristen Bell's daughter has arrived

[name]Kristen[/name] and her fiance [name]Dax[/name] [name]Shepard[/name] welcomed a daughter (announced today by [name]Dax[/name] on Twitter) named [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Bell[/name] [name]Shepard[/name].

What do you think of [name]Lincoln[/name] on a girl? I don’t think I’ve ever heard it.

I’m not a fan. [name]Lincoln[/name] is all boy, in my opinion. There are Presidents’ names used for girls, like [name]Madison[/name] and [name]Kennedy[/name], but I don’t see anything feminine or appealing about [name]Lincoln[/name] on a girl.

Hmm… Yeah, not my style.
kind of plays off [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name]'s daughter, [name]Maxwell[/name]

My friend had a baby girl yesterday, and named her [name]Riley[/name]. I was having a big issue over it, thanks to [name]Kristen[/name] I am over my [name]Riley[/name] on a girl issue.

I kind of think [name]Riley[/name] has become unisex over the years.

[name]Love[/name] it on a boy, hate it on a girl.

Well, I just saw the name on the front page, I thought she had a baby boy. I guess I would have kept thinking so if I never came here. Oh well, more celebrities with gender confusing names. I wonder if we will see a boy named, [name]Sarah[/name].

Maybe she will go by, [name]Bell[/name], when she is older. But then again, she might love her name and rock it.

Sigh. I had high hopes for this one. I don’t hate it but [name]Lincoln[/name] on a girl? No. No. No.

Absolutely my thought on the [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name] thing:)

I actually kinda like it, maybe they will call her [name]Linnie[/name] or [name]Coco[/name]? [name]Lincoln[/name] is such a great American hero, it is great to honor him…though it does seem a tad TOO trendy, with the movie [name]Lincoln[/name] having just come out…

I don’t generally like boyish sounding surname names on girls, but I think it makes more sense if you’re passing on a family surname or naming the baby after someone you admire. Assuming little [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Bell[/name] is named after [name]Abraham[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name], that’s actually pretty cool.

I would love to be a celebrity, just so I could be the only celebrity who gives their kids completely normal and boring names.

I like the name [name]Lincoln[/name], but not on a girl. I hope the little doesn’t get teased. Maybe it will become one of those trending unisex names and she won’t suffer too much. As for [name]Riley[/name], I have a close friend that names her daughter [name]Riley[/name]. I was surprised when she first told me, but I’m over it now. She is definately a [name]Riley[/name]!

First reaction: oh, they had a son!
Second reaction: here we go again! Another celebrity couple jumping on the trend bandwagon.
Overall reaction: Yawn!

That’s a bummer.

Ugh. I don’t like it.

I don’t think we’re all over in the [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name] category (but that might just be because [name]Maxwell[/name], to me, never will be anything else than a dogs name), we are close to get there though. [name]Lincoln[/name] isn’t particularly flattering on a girl, I don’t think it’s flattering on a boy either, but at least that sounds … proper? I don’t know, [name]Lincoln[/name] just flow better on a boy.

I’m actually slightly disappointed. [name]Kristen[/name] [name]Bell[/name] is such a cool person, and I had expected a superduper rad name from her and [name]Dax[/name], but whatever. At least [name]Lincoln[/name] is not an ugly, misspelled name filled with y’s and x’s; [name]Link[/name] is a pretty rad nickname; and I guess she could just go by [name]Bell[/name].

I think [name]Lincoln[/name] on a girl is dreadful. Ugh.

I think [name]Maxwell[/name] is adorable for a girl. Not [name]Lincoln[/name].

I love it.

No no!!!noooooo…
