Kristienne

What do you think? What feel does [name]Kristienne[/name] conjure up in your mind? What would you think if you met a little [name]Kristienne[/name]? Is there another nickname that comes to mind besides [name]Kristi[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Kristienne[/name] would be a good way to honor a [name]Kristen[/name]?

I think it sounds and looks pretty and would be a fine way to honor a [name]Kristen[/name]. It makes me think of Scandanavia. I think of a sweet and graceful little girl.

I like it. I also like the [name]Christienne[/name] spelling, and [name]Christiane[/name].

Nicknames could be: [name]Krissy[/name], [name]Kris[/name], [name]Kiki[/name], Tienne, Tienny, Tinny, [name]Kenny[/name], [name]Issy[/name], Istie, [name]Enna[/name], Ennie, Stienne, ect.

I think it’s pretty, and a very good way to honour a [name]Kristen[/name]. I would probably use the nn [name]Kit[/name] or even [name]Kitty[/name].

I had a good friend in high school named [name]Christianne[/name], who went by [name]Chrissy[/name]. I think I prefer [name]Christianne[/name] over [name]Kristienne[/name].

It’s surprisingly pretty to me given that I don’t like the name [name]Kristen[/name].
I get a sophisticated image from this name, and I think it would be a great way to honor a [name]Kristen[/name].

I would prefer [name]Christienne[/name], [name]Christianne[/name], or [name]Christianna[/name], as the [name]Kristienne[/name] spelling seems too trendy.

As for NNs, I can’t think of any besides [name]Krissy[/name] or [name]Kristie[/name] (or [name]Chrissy[/name] and [name]Christie[/name]), and I think that name is bound to call for a nn.

I hadn’t considered [name]Kiki[/name] or [name]Kit[/name] as nicknames, those are pretty adorable. I didn’t anticipate so many people prefering the Ch over the K, I’m not sure which one I would ultimatley use.

@ellieberry- I prefer the K. The Ch spellings are very nice, but they read more to me like “[name]Christy[/name]-anne” or “[name]Christy[/name]-enne,” emphasizing the [name]Christy[/name] part. I KNOW they are not pronounced like that, but when comparing them to the K spelling, that’s what pops out at me. The [name]Kristienne[/name] spelling makes it flow all into one name for me.
