[name]Kylie[/name] doesn’t scream feminine to me, so I’d choose [name]Ann[/name].

[name]Kylie[/name] is not really a girls name. It can be for both b & g adding [name]James[/name] makes it more masculine. So just go with [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Anne[/name].

I voted for [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Ann[/name], because I don’t think [name]Kylie[/name] is feminine enough to pair with [name]James[/name].

Eh?! Where is [name]Kylie[/name] used as a boys’ name?

[name]Kylie[/name] was an extremely common girls’ name in the seventies and beyond, and naming an Australian boy [name]Kylie[/name] would be about as acceptable as naming him [name]Melissa[/name].

I think [name]Kylie[/name] is way to close to [name]Kyle[/name] to be paired with [name]James[/name]. Glancing at the title I had to stop and double check to make sure I read it right. I’d go with [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Ann/name or put [name]James[/name] with something more girly. Maybe [name]Alexandria[/name] [name]James[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]James[/name].

Agreed O_o

[name]Kylie[/name] [name]Ann[/name]. No contest.

[name]Kylie[/name] is in the top 100 for girls in the US and not even listed on nameberry for boys. If the fact that it is commonly used on girls isn’t enough, [name]Kylie[/name] Minogue and [name]Kylie[/name] Jenner are still in the limelight enough for the average American to think [name]Kylie[/name] is a girl’s name. I voted [name]Kylie[/name] [name]James[/name] because I love how you are honoring your husband

[name]How[/name] about combining [name]James[/name] and [name]Ann[/name] to make [name]Jane[/name]? [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be so pretty!

I think [name]Kylie[/name] is definitely feminine enough to pair with [name]James[/name] and I love that your husband gets to pass on a name. Very sweet.

Sorry. Thank you for correcting me.

I like the suggestion of [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Jane[/name]! Seems like a good compromise to me. Looking at initials, [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Ann[/name] [name]Merritt[/name] would be [name]KAM[/name]…so that’s a potential nickname…so if you don’t like that as a potential nickname, stick with the J for the middle. Good luck!

Thanks for all your input everyone! I agree, [name]Kylie[/name] is most definitely a girls name. My husbands family is Australian so it’s a nod to that. I think at this point we are now deciding between [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Ann[/name] or having two middle names and naming her [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Ann[/name] [name]James[/name]. I’ve thought of [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] too, but that’s another name on it’s own and not one i am much of a fan of. Thanks again! And keep commenting if there are more thoughts!!

I vote [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Ann[/name], nn Liann (like [name]Liam[/name]) for a little faux-Celtic/boyish interest.

Oh, no worries - sorry, didn’t mean to sound like a big know-all! I was just genuinely intrigued that there might be a country somewhere with a bunch of male Kylies running around.
