Hello, we have two boys named Lachlan and Finley and we are due to have another boy in May. I love the nickname Mac/Mack.
I like the name Macaulay, McCormick, or Cormac (it seems the meaning of this name has a negative vibe in the American version, some sites have the meaning “destroying son” or “impure son”, and that’s kind of why I’m nervous about this name)
Please let me know what you guys think and any other suggestions for Irish/Scottish boy names?

Our son’s name is [name_m]Cormac[/name_m], and I’ve never heard that! The meaning I’ve always known is “charioteer.” We always get lots of positive remarks about his name. We may call him [name_m]Mac[/name_m] one day, but we pronounce it as COR-mick, so we’ll see.
