Laeolie Alice and Arcadia Rose?

Would Laeolie [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (pronounced [name_m]Lay[/name_m]-oh-lee) be a good little sister’s name to go with [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or is it a bit too out there? If it was spelt Lèolie would it be easier to pronounce? I’d love to here your thoughts! Any further ideas for middle names would also be much appreciated.

Thank you!

I think Laeolie and [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] would make good sisters. They’re both a bit unusual, and paired with more traditional middles they’re great. Laeolie’s really intrigued me, it’s really pretty (and it’s got the wonderful ae), but I can’t find anything about it. Is it made up? If it is I couldn’t tell.

[name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is stunning although I’m not the biggest fan of Laeolie. [name_f]My[/name_f] first thoughts were aioli and alveoli. What about [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Eulalia[/name_f]? (Pronounced Yoo-lay-ee/ah). Or even [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] and [name_f]Oline[/name_f]?

Laeolie is a bit out there for my tastes. Not that it sounds bad, but I just imagine it being a pain growing up with that name with no one knowing how to spell or pronounce it.

Laeolie is definitely intriguing! I didn’t know how to prn it when I read it. Pretty! I don’t really like it paired with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] though, it’s a bit singsongey.

Laeolie has a really pretty sound and goes well with [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] (which I’m loving at the moment!) but the spelling is really difficult. I think people would struggle even when you try spelling it for them. It doesn’t look very pretty either, if that makes sense. It this a traditional spelling, or is it something you could play with a little to make it a little more intuitive to pronounce and spell?

I agree that the spelling Laeolie will cause people great difficultly in pronouncing her name! [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is stunning, and I do think Laeolie fits in terms of uniqueness but it looks made up and awkward. Maybe you could alter the spelling to something like Layoli? Leolie? I think they look prettier than Laeolie.

[name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] & Leolie look much better together, but I think the pronunciation would end up more [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-oh-lee. What about [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]? [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] would be gorgeous together and I could imagine a little [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
