Lainey and Lexi (as nn's; too close?!)

Could I have a [name]Lainey[/name] and a [name]Lexi[/name]??? Or is that too similar for sisters’ nn’s?

[name]Elaine[/name] and [name]Alexa[/name] are different enough but the nn are so similar… And if I had a third daughter she might feel left out if I pick [name]Cora[/name] or something and it doesn’t have a ‘ee’ ending nn… WDYT?

I actually know a family with three children – [name]Alexis[/name], [name]Andrew[/name], and [name]Delaney[/name]. Their nicknames are [name]Lexi[/name] and [name]Laney[/name].

I personally think it’s cute. They have distinct sounds in the middle that make them different from each other. I think if you were considering something like [name]Roxy[/name] and [name]Lexi[/name] it would be too much, same with something like [name]Zane[/name] and [name]Laney[/name] as siblings.
