WDYT of [name]Landon[/name]? It’s grown on me recently and I really like it (although it’s getting popular in some areas).
I’ve loved it since I was little (I knew one growing up). I think it’s super handsome and has an athletic and vibrant feel to it. It seems to have increased in popularity a lot though and I’m wondering how popular it might get.
I love it!!! I discovered it when I read a Walk to [name]Remember[/name]. I’m super sad that I can’t use it…It is [name]WAY[/name] to matchy with the surname.
I love the name [name]Landon[/name]… it’s very handsome and sweet. The only thing that deters me from using it is that it looks like “[name]Land[/name] On”, even though it is not pronounced as such. Either way, it’s a nice name!
If I lived anywhere other than the UK then I’d probably like [name]Landon[/name] a little bit more but seeing as I live in the UK [name]Landon[/name] wouldn’t be a great choice.
I’ve known tons of then and all of them range from terrible children to creepy children so I generally don’t like it for that.
Besides my personal association with it, I do think it’s very popular where I live and while it has a fine sound, blends in with all the other -on/-en/-an names.
It’s popular here and one those ‘meh’ names anymore. I considered it with my son [name]Nolan[/name] briefly but that was 9 years ago. I agree with pp that I don’t like how it spells [name]Land[/name] On. I remember thinking that when I crossed it off the list back then. Now I know of quite a few so im happy I didn’t use it even though they are all quite a bit younger than my son.
Like dantea, I’ve also known a couple [name]Landon[/name]'s who kind of wrecked the name for me a little. But if I try and focus on the name only, instead of the guys I knew, I actually kind of like it. It’s a nice enough name, just wouldn’t work for me. If you like it though then I’d say go for it!
I love the name [name]Landon[/name] and I do not know any boys with this name.
I know a 5 year old [name]Landon[/name], he’s adorable.
I like the name.
