My husband really likes this name. I like it too- but I’m not dazzled by it. Our other sons are named [name]Francisco[/name] ([name]Cisco[/name]) and [name]August[/name] (Auggie). Can you see [name]Lane[/name] in there to match the sibset? I think it may be a little too…boring.
I just can’t see [name]Lane[/name] being a brother to [name]Francisco[/name] and [name]August[/name]. It does seem a little plain.
In comparison to [name]Francisco[/name] (love!) and [name]August[/name] (also love!) [name]Lane[/name] doesn’t seem to match. I would keep looking.

Yeah, your other two sons have such elaborate names that unfortunately I think [name]Lane[/name] could only be in middle name territory for you. =]

Thanks everyone–those are my thoughts too! We are so stuck on a boy’s name. We’re not finding out the gender and boys names are so hard this time for some reason. Other names we like are [name]Moses[/name], [name]Simon[/name]–possibly [name]Finnegan[/name] ([name]Finn[/name]). Back to the drawing board!
I think of [name]Lane[/name] as a girls name, I’ve never heard it used on a boy.
What about something like [name]Lachlan[/name], [name]Landon[/name], [name]Nolan[/name], [name]Roland[/name] – with the nickname [name]Lane[/name]?
