Laney/Lainey?

Soo I’m really loving the nickname [name_u]Laney[/name_u]/[name_f]Lainey[/name_f]. But I not sure what full name goes with my daughter [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]’s name??

Please help!

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]/[name_f]Madelaine[/name_f]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilian[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmaline[/name_f]
[name_f]Milena[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaine[/name_f]
[name_f]Marlena[/name_f]

Does [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] go well with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Katharine[/name_f]???

I think they are very cute together.

Thanks. Would the spelling [name_u]Delainey[/name_u] work or is made up?

I think [name_u]Delainey[/name_u] works. It’s listed on Nameberry as a variant of [name_u]Delaney[/name_u], and I think it’s more clearly feminine that way. [name_u]Delainey[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] is adorable!

I think [name_u]Delainey[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is very cute, but it doesn’t go with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] style wise, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I personally don’t care if sibling names “go together,” but some do. I like the suggestion of [name_f]Milena[/name_f] nn [name_u]Laney[/name_u]. No, it isn’t spelled the same, but the sound is the same and [name_f]Milena[/name_f] has a similar feel to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. They’re both regal, elegant names, whereas [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] strikes me as more of a gender neutral, spunky name.

I’d assume it was made up.
