I know they’re two very different names that give off two very different vibes, but I’m just curious
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], it was my grandmother’s and great grandmother’s middle names.
I love [name_f]Lara[/name_f]!! It’s so sweet and clear sounding
I really like [name_f]Lara[/name_f]
I say mix the two up and get [name_f]Elara[/name_f] instead. If I have to choose though, probably [name_f]Lara[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], dislike [name_f]Lara[/name_f]. I think the suggestion of [name_f]Elara[/name_f]/[name_f]Elora[/name_f] is a nice idea.
I like [name_f]Lara[/name_f] best! [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] feels very plain to me.
I prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (no surprise) – classic and a ton of nickname possibilities.
I know one [name_f]Lara[/name_f], she’s about 50, and I know she regularly gets called lor-uh or lah-rah rather than her preference, which is lair-uh
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] gets my vote! [name_f]Lara[/name_f] is pretty too
I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] more, but [name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is very pretty.
Btw [name_f]Lara[/name_f] pronounced as Lah-rah
not l [name_f]AIR[/name_f]-ah??
I prefer [name_f]Lara[/name_f], only because I see [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as a little worn out. I do, however, like the [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] spelling. It makes the name feel a little fresher and sweeter to me. I also like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestion of [name_f]Elara[/name_f]! I’d also suggest Elaria.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] has many more options though it depends if you like them all. [name_f]Lara[/name_f] is lovely, but more of a single note name. I’d enjoy being named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] b/c I would go by many nns - [name_f]Bess[/name_f], [name_f]Bessie[/name_f], [name_f]Tabby[/name_f], [name_f]Tibby[/name_f], [name_f]Libby[/name_f], etc.
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] hands down, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is so boring.
They are both names on my girls list.
I worry that [name_f]Lara[/name_f] will be misheard as [name_f]Laura[/name_f], but I love it anyway.
I love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] for its classic feel and abundance of nickname options. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Beth[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f], [name_f]Liz[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f]…
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a beautiful combination.
Separately I like both names a lot, but [name_f]Lara[/name_f] feels “fresher”.
For what it’s worth, my cousin’s newborn is [name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - such an elegant name!
I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is lovely.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]!
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is extremely common compared to [name_f]Lara[/name_f]. I live the combo: [name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] though!
