Laramie: too feminine?

Hey all,

My SO and I have trouble finding boy names that we both enjoy. We recently both found out we both like the nn [name_m]Lars[/name_m] (the show [name_m]Steven[/name_m] Universe has had a huge impact on our relationship). My SO really likes the full name [name_m]Laramie[/name_m], but I’m worried it sounds a bit too feminine. What do you guys think?

Alternative ways to get to the nn [name_m]Lars[/name_m] would be appreciated if you think of anything. [name_f]Laura[/name_f] is an honor name, so I prefer names that include variations of that (i.e. [name_f]Lara[/name_f]mie, Laurence).

Thanks y’all!

[name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]
[name_u]Ballard[/name_u]
[name_m]Clark[/name_m]
[name_m]Clarence[/name_m]
[name_m]Claran[/name_m]
[name_m]Alaric[/name_m]
[name_m]Laremy[/name_m]
[name_m]Lamar[/name_m]
[name_m]Lawson[/name_m]
[name_m]Millar[/name_m]
[name_u]Skylar[/name_u]
[name_u]Tayler[/name_u]
[name_m]Tylar[/name_m]

[name_m]Laramie[/name_m] doesn’t sound feminine at all to me.
It reminds be of [name_m]Larry[/name_m] and [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m].

Though even if it did seem feminine I wouldn’t let that stop me from using it.

From one [name_f]SU[/name_f] fan to another [name_m]Laramie[/name_m] nn [name_m]Lars[/name_m] is great.

I think [name_m]Laramie[/name_m] is really lovely

Some other ideas:

[name_m]Larson[/name_m]
[name_m]Abelard[/name_m]
[name_u]Larkin[/name_u]
Laertes
[name_m]Laurent[/name_m]
[name_m]Lazarus[/name_m]
[name_m]Laredo[/name_m]
[name_m]Laurentin[/name_m]
Larimar

Thank you so much! I really enjoy [name_m]Lamar[/name_m] and Larimar from the above lists. I’ll talk to my SO about them, but [name_m]Laramie[/name_m] is growing on me. Maybe a different spelling might suit me better?

Anyway, thank you all so much!
