Last minute name change!

Okay, so me and DH have had names picked out since [name_u]June[/name_u], but now that the babies will be here in two days, we are questioning Girl 1’s name!
Original: [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] [name_m]Greene[/name_m]
Maybe: [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristina[/name_f]/Christina [name_m]Greene[/name_m]

Please reply ASAP with whether you like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristin[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristina[/name_f], or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Christina[/name_f].

PS- She will be a triplet, and her brother and sister’s names are [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is my mother’s name and I didn’t want to change it at all, [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] was my late father’s name, and [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] is my DH’s mom’s name. Please do not suggest [name_f]Christine[/name_f], because while I do think it’s a nice name, it rhymes with our last name.

I prefer [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristina[/name_f] if you’re going to change it. I think it will fit with her siblings well. I also think [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] could work, but, to me, it seemed incomplete. [name_f]Kristina[/name_f] seems to do the task, imo.

I agree with @shells15.

Christina or [name_f]Kristina[/name_f] do you think?

Christina or [name_f]Kristina[/name_f]?

I vote for [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristina[/name_f]

Is [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] an honour name?

Yes, it’s my husband’s mother’s name.

I prefer [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] with [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]. This sibset is so wonderful!

Then I would go with the [name_f]Kristina[/name_f] spelling so it’s closer to the original honour. If that’s not an issue to you, then I’d go with the [name_f]Christina[/name_f] spelling just because I prefer it.

I would say [name_f]Kristina[/name_f]. Not only does it fit the spelling of your DH’s mom’s name, but it is the Scandinavian spelling, which would fit well with [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m].

I can’t wait for the announcement that they are here!

Me too!! [name_m]Just[/name_m] as a heads up, might be a little late with the announcement with the NICU, but I certainly hope to announce it as soon as I can!

Hi there.

Totally stick w/Maeve [name_f]Kristin[/name_f]. Since [name_f]Freya[/name_f] & [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]’s mns are actual names of grandparents (what amazing names your parents have, btw!), I see no reason not to use Grandma Kristins full name. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] sounds really pretty.

Hope this helps.

I like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kristin[/name_f]. If you want to change it up a bit, [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kiersten[/name_f] is nice, too.
