Last minute name change?

Hi! Im having a baby in 2 days! We had decided on the name Estelle Lauren but for some reason I’m just not sure if Estelle is ‘the one’. Last night my husband and I realized we both like Noelle Lauren as well. SO what do you all think? Which do you prefer?!

Both are lovely & you can’t got wrong with either one.
I just slightly prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] though

This is quite a tricky one - I like [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] better as a full name and would probably use a different middle with [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (unless [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] is a family name, that trumps all), but I like Esti/Stelle more than any nickname I can think of for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] (Noni? Nellie?). [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is more elegant, refined and reserved, [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] warmer, more playful (and obviously celebratory).

Thank you! We will probably end up using the nickname [name_f]Elle[/name_f] for either name!

Doh! That makes sense. I’m leaning more towards [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] the more I say it. I think it’ll stand out more among all the E/L/Ellie names.

[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is still my favourite - starry, elegant and lovely. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] flows a little better to me too, if that’s a big deal.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is beautiful too - warm and strong.

You can’t go wrong either way, but I just prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]

I voted for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] because I find it easier to say/rolls off the tongue more. But [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is also very pretty

[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is just too associated with [name_f]Christmas[/name_f] for me. [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] though she is.

I personally really enjoy [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is the perfect choice if you like [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] but aren’t feeling 100% into it!!!

If your uncertainty doesn’t resolve itself and you’re both feeling good about [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] when your daughter arrives, it sounds like a change is the right decision.

Last minute doubts are a common experience. Sometimes parents move past it and sometimes it propels them toward a new option. You could very well be happy with either choice but if there’s one you feel more comfortable with overall, that’s the one I’d choose.

I prefer [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] myself. It’s got a lovely sound and I feel it’s always in style and above the trends. I’ve also been thinking there’s something familiar about [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] and I’ve just realised it reminds me of [name_f]Estée[/name_f] Lauder. That’s neither here nor there but I thought I’d mention it all the same.

All the best with your decision whichever name you choose.

Either is a winner. And both are on my short list, if we have a girl, in the next few months. We love the [name_f]Elle[/name_f] names too.

If you’re unsure about [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and she gets here and you feel like she’s a [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], go for it. Either name is solid!

I love [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] or [name_m]Noel[/name_m] but out of the 2 choices [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is my favorite.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is very sweet and upbeat. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] feels classy and sophisticated but with a bit of a sparkle :sparkles: I love the meaning of [name_f]Estelle[/name_f].

You can’t go wrong, great choices!

I love [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]! [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] and feminine without being formal. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] reminds me a bit too much of [name_f]Estée[/name_f] Lauder.
