Last minute name decision

I am now officially past my due date with my third baby and still undecided on which name to give her.

My son’s name is [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] and my daughter’s name is [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. I’m looking for a third name that fits with their names, but ultimately I just want to love it.

Our last name is short and starts with an H, so preferably no H first names, and I tend to like the sound of a first name with at least two syllables.

Here is our current list:
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] - I think this name goes well with my kid’s names, and it is growing on me the more I see it. My husband is on the fence.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - both my husband and I like this name a lot, but it sound abrupt (not terrible) with our last name, and I’m not sure what middle name would sound good.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - mildly concerned she would be called [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] from time to time, but love the nn [name_u]June[/name_u]/[name_f]Junie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f] - my husband’s favorite, a name a like, but am just unsure of.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - worried a little about popularity (although I don’t know any personally) and not sure it sounds good with my kid’s names, but I think it’s a beautiful name
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] - I think this is such a sweet name. Not sure how well it ages (although I think she could easily use a nn) and I know a lot of people think ‘cow’ when they hear it. Maybe too old fashioned with my kid’s names.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] - my only concern is that my name is [name_f]Lara[/name_f] and I feel like this name looks too similar.

Any opinions or further suggestions are welcome!

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] are my favorites with your kids’ names, but with [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] I think the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] spelling would be a bit better as your kids have traditional spelling. Good luck with your new little one!

My favs are:

[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]

Since you both like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], you could also pair it with a more feminine middle to soften it up. It really goes with everything…

[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]

I agree with you that [name_u]Piper[/name_u] does go well with your other children’s names. But if your husband doesn’t come around then I guess you’ll have to move on.

I also like the name [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] nn [name_u]June[/name_u]/[name_f]Junie[/name_f]. I wouldn’t be concerned with people thinking it’s [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]. That wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me.

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] or [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] best with your kids’ names. I do prefer the spelling [name_f]Lila[/name_f], but [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] is nice as well.

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] go really well with your sibset imo.

[name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] standout to me the most. Your other choices are either ones you and your spouse don’t agree on, ones that are too popular, or ones you think may not flow with your sibset.

[name_f]IMO[/name_f] best to worst:

  1. [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
  2. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] nn [name_u]June[/name_u]
  3. [name_u]Piper[/name_u]
  4. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
  5. [name_f]Nina[/name_f]
  6. [name_f]Ella[/name_f]
  7. [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is so beautiful! From my part of the world [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is not very common so it might just be where you live now? (I’m from [name_u]California[/name_u]) So I would say if thats just what is holding you back on that name then you should rethink it maybe.?

From your list I like:
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]

[name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] could be nicknames for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f], [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f], Elisabelle, Elisabella, [name_f]Sabella[/name_f], [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f], [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]

[name_m]Greyson[/name_m], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], and…
[name_f]Davina[/name_f]
[name_f]Zosia[/name_f]
[name_f]Thisbe[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Jessa[/name_f]
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Annika[/name_f]
[name_f]Danica[/name_f]
[name_f]Cambria[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
[name_f]Katya[/name_f]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Briony[/name_f]
[name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
