I’ve been playing around with changing my last name for a lot of reasons, and I’d love to hear some thoughts and suggestions.
Here is the deal:
I need it to sound good with the rest of my name “[name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]”
Easy to pronounce
Doesn’t sound too similar to other names
Easy to hear with my accent (I have just a little bit of a southern twang)
Has a positive meaning (I’m thinking nature/ rebirth but I’m open to all ideas)
Not racially or culturally ambiguous, my current last name is a very common [name_f]Asian[/name_f] last name and I am 100% white and would rather not hear the racist comments about it anymore
Open to any suggestions, thanks in advance!
Would another color name be too much with [name_f]Amber[/name_f]? Are word names too cutesy/ fake sounding? The only idea I can come up with so far is [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] but I’m not sure if I would run into spelling problems with that too. My current last name is Cling minus the c for reference.

Oh my gosh [name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_m]Stone[/name_m] just connected for me yea that would be too on the nose. I do really like the suggestion of Woods.

This has nothing to do with nature etc but I have always liked the last name [name_f]Grace[/name_f] because it sounds like a first/middle name and makes a name more feminine. I also agree that [name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_m]Stone[/name_m] is a great combo
