Last names that suit Eleanor?

Hey all

I’m writing a book and my leading lady is called [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. If context helps - she’s British, young, petite (fragile looking) but strong. It’s set in modern times too.

I’m struggling to find a last name that both looks and sounds good with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] though. Ideally I’d like a name that’s uncommon so that it’s memorable. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

What about: [name_f]Raine[/name_f], [name_m]Buckley[/name_m], [name_m]Armstrong[/name_m], [name_m]Morris[/name_m], [name_m]Hughes[/name_m], Yates, [name_m]Weston[/name_m], Myers, [name_m]Brooks[/name_m].

Thanks for your suggestion. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and [name_f]Raine[/name_f] sound lovely.

Maybe Knapp, [name_m]Princeton[/name_m], [name_u]Tate[/name_u], Fawkes, [name_m]Davis[/name_m], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_m]Nash[/name_m], Valdez, [name_u]Finch[/name_u], Jacobs, [name_m]Eaton[/name_m], [name_m]Bond[/name_m], [name_m]Hawes[/name_m], [name_m]Knox[/name_m], [name_u]Campbell[/name_u], [name_m]Fleetwood[/name_m], Bridges, [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], [name_m]Madden[/name_m], [name_m]Penn[/name_m], [name_u]Abbott[/name_u], [name_m]Sims[/name_m], [name_m]Vance[/name_m], or [name_m]Young[/name_m]?

Good suggestions, thanks. I particularly like [name_u]Finch[/name_u]!

Maybe names like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], with 3 syllables, have a better flow with 1 syllable surnames like [name_m]Banks[/name_m], [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_m]Bond[/name_m], etc etc.

I’m a big fan of unique surnames! Like the model [name_f]Karlie[/name_f] Kloss - no idea why but I think Kloss sounds really cool. Maybe it’s due to alliteration.
