[name_f]Aria[/name_f] would definitely be my favorite. Although if you’re in love with [name_f]Brier[/name_f], which I also like,I wouldn’t worry about it not going with [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]. I think think they complement each other pretty nicely.
I think [name_f]Brier[/name_f] is lovely but I can see how you’d feel “locked in” with another girl so if that’s a concern eliminate that one. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] sounds like it is presenting the most problems for you as a couple based on what you said so I think that would be safe to eliminate. That brings it down to either “[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u]” or “[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u]”. Honestly, you can’t go wrong here either way. They are both absolutely gorgeous names! If your husband isn’t thrilled about [name_u]River[/name_u] and you leaned towards Wildflower, what about another nature themed/botanical middle name? I think any of these middle names would match [name_f]Aria[/name_f] or [name_f]Ada[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Brier[/name_f]! [name_f]Brier[/name_f] with [name_f]Ada[/name_f] seems a little heavy to me for some reason? I think you are right that the top two are [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f] though

I also like [name_f]Ada[/name_f] the best out of your options. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f] are too trendy. I love [name_f]Briar[/name_f], but spelled this way. I think that [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Briar[/name_f] is stunning and flows so much better than [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u] or [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Briar[/name_f] or [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u]…you also get the nature thing in there. [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] work together, though I do feel like [name_f]Ada[/name_f] (and your other girl choices) pale a little in comparison to [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. My favourite is [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. Plus it sounds like you both love it. I wouldn’t worry about your friend thinking it’s old lady-ish, I was the same with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] until I met the little [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and now I associate the name with him. I’m not sure about the middle though. You like it but he tolerates it, is there a name you both love you could use instead? [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Brier[/name_f] would be lovely as would [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f].
Of the others while [name_f]Aria[/name_f] is nice, [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u] feels quite trendy and compared to [name_f]Ada[/name_f] it just doesn’t grab me. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is lovely but if he doesn’t like it but loves others on your list I’d rule it out. [name_f]Brier[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is nice too but you seem to have reservations? Though I wouldn’t worry about how well it goes with [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] (I think they sound fine together btw!).

I could see what you mean about [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Brier[/name_f]. It’s heavy because it has so many strong sounding consonants. Although I have to say I still love it, haha! Seriously, I do! I think it’s strong rather than heavy. But you have to do what feels right to you. You are right that [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Brier[/name_f] is more lilting and softer sounding.
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is lovely! You could also go with the spelling [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Charis[/name_f] if you prefer. (I like playing with spellings.)
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is pretty but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] feels so much like a nickname for me. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] works though.
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] does feel old fashioned to me. Although separately [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is fine and [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is fine. It’s something about the two of them together, not sure what specifically.

i think aria is very trendy right now. While very pretty I definitely love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] more; it’s a stronger vibe and also vintage and lovely. I like the suggestion of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_f]Ada[/name_f] brier. But if you do love brier and plan on having another child, I wouldn’t use it in the middle spot.

If you’re concerned that [name_f]Ada[/name_f] feels too insubstantial compared to [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], you could always go with a longer name that would still get you to [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. A friend of mine goes by [name_f]Ada[/name_f], but her full name is [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]. There’s also [name_f]Adriana[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is fine on its own, but I just wanted to throw out some options.
