I prefer [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] to [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], because I love the nature-y meaning and the ‘silvery’ sound, it feels like such a forest fairy name to me. It makes me think of silver frost shimmering on evergreen branches. I’m not keen on [name_f]Sassy[/name_f] as a nn which I’ve heard before with [name_f]Saskia[/name_f]. I’d probably prefer [name_f]Sasha[/name_f]? But I admit [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] has a sort of sparkly quality, I can see why she is well liked
I recently received refreshed results on my genealogy/DNA test results, so I’ve been looking into some of the names from some of those nationalities! [name_f][/name_f] Which has been fun. [name_f][/name_f] Which so far has mostly been [name_m]Breton[/name_m] names, so the likes of [name_f]Maëlle[/name_f], [name_f]Enora[/name_f], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], Judicaël, [name_m]Gwenaël[/name_m], [name_m]Malo[/name_m], etc., have been on my mind! [name_f][/name_f] I am minorly obsessed with [name_f]Maëlle[/name_f] and Malo—I’ve added [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Maëlle[/name_f] [name_f]Enora[/name_f] and have been seriously considering [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m] [name_m]Malo[/name_m] something or other too! [name_f][/name_f] I never thought [name_m]Breton[/name_m] names did much for me but I am definitely changing my mind. [name_f][/name_f] Other than that, I honestly sort of feel like I’m in a name rut, but I have been enjoying [name_m]Rafe[/name_m], [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], [name_m]Drury[/name_m] (a family name find!), [name_m]Dexter[/name_m], and [name_m]Baxter[/name_m] for boys. [name_f][/name_f] No real new crushes for girls, but I’ve been thinking about [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Hero[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], and [name_f]Alba[/name_f] a lot—they are big time favorites but I prefer all four as middles and couldn’t find firsts for them that I loved. [name_f][/name_f] Maybe someday!

As for the most beautiful name—Evangeline is up there for me too! [name_f][/name_f] It feels like a beautiful stained glass window in a church for me. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]. I would probably top it with [name_f]Adele[/name_f] though—her combination of dainty beauty and the fact that despite the singer, she’s relatively under the radar… [name_f]Adele[/name_f] is so ridiculously lovely for me! [name_f][/name_f] I would put [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], [name_f]Ariane[/name_f], [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], and Isobel/Isabelle/Isabella (yes, despite the popularity! [name_f][/name_f] The popularity kills me, but I can’t help but still feel after all this time that [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is one of the most objectively beautiful names in the entire world) up there too.
Right now, [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] & [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] are on my mind! I have also been musing [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] worry with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is how long it is. As for [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], it would be an honor name, but I’m not sure if it’s too punchy. For [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], I worry about how vampy it can sounds when I overthink.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] & [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] would make such a good sibling pair [name_f][/name_f]- and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] could be a third though I could also see the third being, [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], or [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]?

I don’t think [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is too long [name_f][/name_f]- 4 syllable but only 8 letters and looks “tall and slim”: I like the name but don’t love the nicknames while [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is the opposite, don’t adore [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] but it has some great nickname options. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] meanwhile has a bit of a vampy, grungy feel for me too [name_f][/name_f]- but it can easily be reframed in my mind to sparkly and angelic. It’s probably both! I really like it. It’d be my fave of the three.
