Laura and Jill or Jillian

The current name to beat for [name]Laura[/name]'s new sibling is either [name]Jill[/name] or [name]Jillian[/name].

I don’t really like [name]Jillian[/name], but can’t figure out why. I like the name [name]Lillian[/name] just fine, but for some reason think [name]Jillian[/name] sounds nerdy and annoying.

My husband likes [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Louise[/name]. ([name]Louise[/name] for his mom)

I would prefer [name]Jill[/name] with a one syllable middle name that could be used together as a two word name, all the time.

Either way, if this baby is a boy it will be [name]Charles[/name], and any subsequent boy children will end up with that name so it could potentially be [name]Laura[/name], [name]Jill[/name] and [name]Charlie[/name].

What do y’all think?

I like [name]Jillian[/name] myself.

What about [name]Gillian[/name]? You could still pronounce it [name]Jillian[/name], but it’d be the British version. Personally, I like [name]Gillian[/name] pronounced with the hard G sound.
