Lavinia Garnet vs. Lavinia Rosamund

My ongoing dilemma, as I love both equally.

What is your name image for [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Garnet[/name_f]?

What is your name image for [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]?

My middle name is [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f]! I was named after my great grandmother [name_f]Livinia[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. We called her [name_f]Bina[/name_f] (hence my username)! [name_f]Bina[/name_f] was such a beautiful woman, and I associate the name with grace and power. Either way, the name is strong! However, I prefer [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]!

Thank you so much for your feedback, @mlbina. Not only do you have one of the most thoroughly lovely names, it is an honor name for you! [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is fantastic.

I like [name_f]Garnet[/name_f]… So pretty!

[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] is stunning! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it immensely. It’s so refreshing to see [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] being used.

[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] gets my vote. [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is pretty but very stately and buttoned-up. [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] makes [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] feel more easygoing and modern.

I’m not a fan of [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] and I really like [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], but [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] gets my vote. I think those names complement each other much better for the same reasons @southern.maple stated. [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is pretty but all one note, while [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] takes a more interesting and unexpected turn.

Thank you all. This helped so much. I’m going with [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Garnet[/name_f]!

When I think of [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f], I think of an elderly, spirited English lady in a large elegant hat.

I think [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] sounds more all of a piece, elegant, English, classic. [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is one of my top ten names of all time.

I also love [name_f]Garnet[/name_f], and I think of it as a spunky and creative young girl.
