What are people’s thoughts?
We love it at the moment but haven’t ‘released it’ to family/friends out of sheer fear.
I think [name]Lavinia[/name] is beautiful! I love the versatility of the nicknames, like [name]Avi[/name] and Vini, and so many more. Great Choice! [name]Do[/name] you have any middle name ideas?
It’s NMS, personally. A little too frilly for my tastes, but it’s still a very lovely name. Definitely feminine and flowing, if that’s what you’re going for.
Unless your family and friends get a say in the name, why are you telling them, especially if you fear their reactions? It’s your child, not theirs. You get to pick the name. Pick what you love and tell them when the baby arrives. They’ll love the name no matter what at that point.
My great-grandmother’s name. Think I might prefer [name]Lavender[/name] as I’m not keen on the ‘vin’ part. But go with it - if you find an unusual name you love, use it and enjoy!
I love [name]Lavinia[/name] - it’s been a longtime favorite of mine, but sadly, my husband does not share my adoration! [name]Even[/name] though my taste normally tends toward shorter names, I love the lacy vintage feel that [name]Lavinia[/name] has. A good choice.
