I like the name [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] because I think it’s cute and handsome but I can’t help disliking it at the same time. [name_f]Every[/name_f] time I see it I immediately like it but then I start to think it’s just another trendy, trying-too-hard kinda name. The more I see it the more it doesn’t seem like a real name (ex: [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], [name_m]Preston[/name_m], [name_m]Cole[/name_m], etc) Thoughts or any names that have a similar vibe?
It is a legit surname, and is currently in the top 500. It is definitely a name.
On the topic of trying too hard, I sometimes find myself disliking some surnames as first names, but it is something that has always been practiced. It happens to be on trend now.
I quite like [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] and think it sounds like a real name. As pp mentioned, it’s in the top 500 and is a legitimate surname. I tend to prefer [name_m]Dawson[/name_m], though.
I like [name_m]Lawson[/name_m]! I agree with pp that [name_m]Dawson[/name_m] is also great 
I also like [name_m]Landon[/name_m] which reminds me of [name_m]Lawson[/name_m].
I think most surnames that end in -son are the same vibe as [name_m]Lawson[/name_m]…
