As I have posted before, I want to use the name [name]Charles[/name] after my grandfather for a MN for a girl.
[name]Do[/name] you like [name]Layla[/name] [name]Charles[/name] or [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Charles[/name] (nn [name]Vivi[/name] [name]Charles[/name]) better and why?
As they are, [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Charles[/name]. It just has a classier vibe to me. However, if [name]Layla[/name] was spelled [name]Leila[/name], that would 100% get my vote. I love [name]Leila[/name] so much more than [name]Vivienne[/name], personally, but the [name]Layla[/name] spelling looks so trendy to me. [name]Leila[/name] [name]Charles[/name] or [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Charles[/name] are both nice. I think [name]Leila[/name] and [name]Vivienne[/name] would be amazing for sisters, too!
[name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Charles[/name] gets my vote as well, I think the very girly feel of [name]Vivienne[/name] sets off [name]Charles[/name] as a middle name
I have always loved the name [name]Layla[/name], and the people I’ve known with that name have spelled it that way and they were from the Middle [name]East[/name] (where the name originated), for whatever it’s worth. But I also like the name [name]Vivienne[/name] and I think [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Charles[/name] has a better sound to it – more classic, like pp said.
I’m on my own in this, I know, but I don’t like [name]Vivienne[/name] at all. I find it dated, and I think it’s only come back because of the [name]Jolie[/name]-[name]Pitt[/name] thing.
I like [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Charles[/name], although it’s dated. What about [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Charles[/name]? [name]Viva[/name] [name]Charles[/name], [name]Vivien[/name] [name]Charles[/name]…
I was never fond of [name]Layla[/name], though. What about [name]Laila[/name] [name]Charles[/name]?
I prefer [name]Layla[/name] [name]Charles[/name]. I like the young, girly sweetness of [name]Layla[/name] combined with the grown-up [name]Charles[/name].
