Layla?

I’ve been considering [name]Layla[/name] or [name]Leila[/name] recently. I like [name]Layla[/name] [name]Rose[/name] but there are already several <insert name> [name]Rose[/name]'s in my family and close friends. Which other middle names would go? I think a simple, one syllable name would go really nicely, maybe [name]Skye[/name] or [name]Ray[/name]/[name]Rae[/name]? Or could I use one of these family names: [name]Heather[/name], [name]Beverley[/name], [name]Natalie[/name], [name]Maisie[/name], [name]Emily[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Florence[/name].

[name]Layla[/name] doesn’t get much love on Nameberry because it’s a bit trendy, but I like it. It’s very pretty (and [name]Lila[/name] gets so much love- I don’t know why, as I think [name]Layla[/name] is nicer.) The [name]Leila[/name] spelling seems a bit more weighty, so I think I’d use that, but I like both spellings.

[name]Layla[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is a bit dull to me, and I think [name]Layla[/name] needs a very interesting middle. I love [name]Layla[/name] [name]Beverley[/name], [name]Layla[/name] [name]Florence[/name], and [name]Layla[/name] [name]Esther[/name] from your list. [name]Beverley[/name] is my favorite- it’s an old-fashioned name, but sounds like a lot of currently popular names.

Oh, I love [name]Layla[/name]! Especially that spelling. [name]Layla[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is lovely, but as you mention, <name> [name]Rose[/name] is quite common. I really like [name]Layla[/name] [name]Florence[/name]!

[name]Layla[/name] [name]Fern[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]June[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Rue[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Eve[/name]*
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Elowen[/name]*
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Rosamund[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Rosemary[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Giselle[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Rosanna[/name]

I like [name]Layla[/name] too, even if it is a bit popular at the moment. [name]Layla[/name] [name]Skye[/name] would be very pretty. Or how about:
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
It is very pretty with a one syllable middle. However, it would also work with a longer middle. From your list, these would work:
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Beverly[/name] -but [name]Layla[/name] is light and airy and [name]Beverly[/name] is ponderous and serious imo
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Nathalie[/name] -this is okay
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Emily[/name] -this one works the best I think.

Or, how about:
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]

I like [name]Layla[/name]. It’s a common name in the Middle [name]East[/name]. Since it means night in Arabic, it would be really cute with [name]Skye[/name]. It does sound nice with a one syllable middle. I really like the suggestion of [name]Layla[/name] [name]Eve[/name].

I really love [name]Layla[/name] but it clashes with my fiance’s last name, so I can’t use it. Maybe the flow isn’t the best, but I love [name]Layla[/name] [name]Esther[/name].

I love it! It make’s me think of the [name]Eric[/name] Clapton song. You could stick with that blues theme and call her [name]Layla[/name] [name]Odetta[/name] (or maybe that’s my future kid

The [name]Eric[/name] Clapton song immediately comes to mind. also [name]Layla[/name] [name]Ali[/name], [name]Mohammed[/name] [name]Ali[/name]'s daughter. Not so fond of it for these reasons.
