I think [name_f]Layla[/name_f] is cute, but the only one I have known was a major slut in high school. However, if I met a little girl with the name I would think it was very nice. I prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
My daughter’s name is [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. She is a smart, funny, adventurous little girl. I think [name_f]Layla[/name_f] goes very nicely with [name_m]Silas[/name_m].
I love [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - I voted for [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] but it only won by a bit. I think [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] sounds a little too cutesy. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be cute if you decide [name_f]Layla[/name_f] is not your favorite.
I like [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Leila[/name_f], but not [name_f]Laila[/name_f] - I think people would be confused at first glance with that. There’s no need to change the spelling. I do prefer [name_f]Layla[/name_f], though, because of the [name_m]Eric[/name_m] Clapton song. I also think [name_f]Layla[/name_f] sounds fine with [name_m]Silas[/name_m].
I like [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Layla[/name_f] but not crazy about [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. I know a [name_f]Leila[/name_f] but she pronounces it [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-la. She is older in her mid-fifties and of middle eastern descent.
I love [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! It goes nicely with [name_m]Silas[/name_m]. They both seems like timeless names to me. However, I do prefer the spelling [name_f]Leila[/name_f].
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] is so pretty! I prefer [name_f]Leila[/name_f] a little more though. I don’t know any [name_f]Layla[/name_f]'s, but a friend of mine is currently pregnant with a little girl she is naming [name_f]Layla[/name_f].
1 [name_f]Leila[/name_f] - I think this is the prettiest spelling
2 [name_f]Laila[/name_f] - the Arabic spelling is fine too
3 [name_f]Layla[/name_f] - yes, this is a legitimate spelling but I don’t like the “lay” (too much teasing potential)
I voted for [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] on your poll but [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be gorgeous!
I prefer the [name_f]Leila[/name_f] spelling as well. And I love the [name_m]Eric[/name_m] Clapton song but the “[name_f]Layla[/name_f]” he’s singing about was named [name_f]Pattie[/name_f] in real life anyway
I prefer the [name_f]Layla[/name_f] spelling as it seems to be most common (in my experience) and doesn’t lend itself to any pronunciation issues.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is my favourite of your choices. I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Belle[/name_f], and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] somehow fits better in my opinion.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] is okay. I prefer [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f]/[name_f]Lylah[/name_f]/[name_f]Lilah[/name_f].
I do not like filler middles like [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_f]Belle[/name_f], unless they have importance and meaning to you.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] is a beautiful name, and unfortunately many, many people agree. The “[name_m]Lay[/name_m]” spelling alone sits in the low 30s after rocketing up the charts this past decade. My favorite combo is [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. The repetition of the long a sound in [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is displeasing to my ear.
I think [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is really pretty. I use to love the name [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] until I met two girls with those names, and now I can’t use them. My second choice would be [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
