Lea James Marie?

[name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is my latest crush, [name_f]Lea[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] is after my parents (L3@nne & J@mes) and [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is after my great-great-grandmother who my grandmother was close to.

what do you guys think? does [name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] sound alright?

It’s nice. I am not a fan of 2 middles, or [name_u]James[/name_u] for a girl, but it is not bad or anything.

How are you pronouncing [name_f]Lea[/name_f]? In my family, it is pronounced [name_u]Lee[/name_u], so it could sound like two masculine names in a row (and in Catholic communities, three masculine names in a row).

I like the idea of the name, but the pronunciation sticks me a bit with my family history.

I think it flows well but as per previous poster, [name_f]Leah[/name_f] might be a better spelling to make it clear if this is the pronunciation. I’m usually ambivalent about [name_u]James[/name_u] for a girl but I really like it as an honour. (I hope this comes across OK online, and obviously you can just ignore :), but I wonder if it would be worth saving to say 5-15 names and posting them all on one post for feedback and/or your favourite names and asking for combinations rather than single posts for each new name idea.)

[name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is a solid and sweet combo!

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you pronounce [name_f]Lea[/name_f] as Lee-uh or [name_u]Lee[/name_u]?

I do one at a time because it’s easier for me, because everytime I posted multiple combos at the same time I sometimes had a hard time figuring out what idea was for what combo

I really like the family significance and simple yet not bland feel of the combo. [name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is sweet yet solid. I am not a fan of masculine names on girls so I would modify it to [name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] / [name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_f]Jamesina[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] / [name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_f]Jacobine[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] etc. That’s entirely my weird pet peeve tho, otherwise there is absolutely nothing wrong with the second middle name [name_u]James[/name_u] in terms of flow. I’m sure your family would be very pleased with this kind of name for your daughter.

Personally I think [name_u]James[/name_u] is style incongruent in this combo; what about [name_f]Lea[/name_f] [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] or [name_f]Leah[/name_f] (this spelling) [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]?

not a huge fan of [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. and I think of [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] as the fem form of [name_u]John[/name_u], not [name_u]James[/name_u]

[name_f]Lea[/name_f] is one of those names that I never know if it’s being pronounced like [name_u]Lee[/name_u], [name_f]Leah[/name_f], or [name_f]Leia[/name_f]. I don’t like [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl, but [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] is nice. [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is a filler name to me: overdone and very common.

I’ve never seen people not being able to clearly respond to posts with multiple names to comment on but obviously if difficult your end, as you were!

I think the combo is great and I love the honor aspects! I would pronounce as [name_u]Lee[/name_u] though but easy enough correction.
