My husband and I are expecting our second little girl in a couple of weeks and are looking for a name to go with [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] which is our first daughter’s name. We both love the name [name_f]Annelise[/name_f], but I am wondering if [name_f]Leah[/name_f] and [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] are too similar sounding? I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks!
They do sound a bit similar but I do think they’re fine together. Both children are individuals and I think it’s more important to choose a name that you love for each of them than it is that their names sound perfect together. Go for it!

They go pretty well together! They do sound slightly similar, but aren’t matchy. I think it’s a beautiful sibset

Thank you for your replies! I love the spelling [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] too but we figured we would simplify because I’m sure the spelling is going to be butchered anyways.
Thoughts on middle names for [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]? We are leaning towards [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], but does that sound incomplete?

I think both names work fantastic together. [name_f]Leah[/name_f] and [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] (this spelling is my favorite).
