Ok so ive posted a couple of times about names, me & my partner have narrowed a girls name down to [name]Leah[/name] or [name]Kiara[/name].
mn is proving difficult, we have a few ideas and are still open to suggestions would appreciate some help in choosing a name once and for all.
Im starting to get annoyed when people say “have you picked any names?” and it is such a sore subject between me and my partner because we cant agree!
Our mn’s are pretty much the same for both names, but which one sounds better?
**[name]Kiara[/name] [name]Paige[/name] & [name]Kiara[/name] [name]Lea[/name] are proving to be my favourites. However [name]Leah[/name] has been the girls name we wanted since our first child!
Please help us!!
[name]Kiara[/name], all the way. I’ve loved that name since I was a kid. I used to babysit one of the most adorable little girls with that name. [name]Leah[/name] to me is just so… boring. I’ve never saw the appeal of it.
I like all of the middle names, but I think my favorites are [name]Kiara[/name] [name]Jade[/name] and [name]Kiara[/name] [name]Mae[/name]. Oh and [name]Paige[/name].
[name]Leah[/name] is adorable! I love it. It also happens to be one of my little sister’s nicknames, so I’m biased.
I like [name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Leah[/name] [name]Kiara[/name], and [name]Kiara[/name] [name]Lea[/name] the best.

(ETA: With the surname [name]Bryan[/name], I think [name]Leah[/name] sounds much better! I get a bit tongue-twisted saying [name]Leah[/name] [name]Kiara[/name] [name]Bryan[/name]. [name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Bryan[/name] is definitely my favorite. It’s so sweet and flows really well.)
[name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] was the name we wanted when i was pregnant with our first child, it was our set girls name.
I still love them name however since having my son there are plenty of people locally and my age that have had little girls and used the initials LG/had a similar name/used [name]Grace[/name] for middle name i.e [name]Lilli[/name]-[name]Grace[/name] - This puts me off
Then as soon as i come across [name]Kiara[/name] i fell in love thinking there will be no-one locally with the name (hopefully) & it took me straight back to my childhood watching The [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name] 2!! However im not sure if [name]Kiara[/name] is too out-there for where we live and will people say “have you heard what they called their daughter”.
This is a hard choice! My niece is named [name]Kiara[/name] [name]Hope[/name]. It’s a beautiful name and perfect for her, but personally I think I like [name]Leah[/name] better. I like [name]Leah[/name] [name]Paige[/name].
[name]Kiara[/name] is harsh sounding to me, and there is the possibility of it being spelled wrong. [name]Leah[/name] is classic and girly and sweet. [name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is adorable!
I prefer [name]Leah[/name] - [name]Kiara[/name] is just not my style and [name]Leah[/name] is classic. It also sounds better with [name]Taylor[/name], [name]IMO[/name].
I like all you mn choices except [name]Leah[/name] [name]Kiara[/name]. I don’t like how both end with the “ah” sound. It sounds odd to my ears. It doesn’t flow like the others. [name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is probably my favorite.
I think if you have both liked [name]Leah[/name] for so long that you should go with it!
My name is [name]Leah[/name]! I do love my name. It’s classic but not over used (yet), I can see it on all different types of girls: girly girls, tom boys and alternative types. I would defiantly suggest you use it!
I don’t love any of your mn choices though. Most of them are more “filler” mn. I know so many little girls with the mn’s [name]Grace[/name], [name]Paige[/name] and [name]Mae[/name].
Some less common mn choices you might like with [name]Leah[/name] are…
[name]Leah[/name] [name]Jade[/name] is my favorite. I like very few K names…I think the Kardassians ruined them for me! But [name]Kiara[/name] isn’t my taste and [name]Leah[/name] seems more classic and sweet. I think it sounds great with [name]Jade[/name].
[name]Leah[/name] [name]Paige[/name] or [name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] – both look/sound so pretty, [name]IMO[/name], and I love big brother’s name, BTW!!!
