I’ve been seriously crushing on [name_m]Leander[/name_m] for about two weeks now. I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m], but I prefer longer names. [name_m]Leopold[/name_m], [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] and [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] has all been considered, but were dropped as first names because they didn’t feel right for me.
What are your thoughts on [name_m]Leander[/name_m]?
Which nickname do you prefer: [name_m]Anders[/name_m] or [name_m]Leo[/name_m]*?
[name_f]Doe[/name_f] [name_m]Leander[/name_m] go well with hypothetical brother named [name_m]Alaric[/name_m]?
*I’m well aware that these two are standalone names, but I prefer them as nicknames only.
I think [name_m]Leander[/name_m] is nice, but it’s very trendy where I live so I’m kind of tired of it. It has an attractive sound, though, and I’m surprised that it isn’t more popular in the US. I prefer the nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m] by far; [name_m]Anders[/name_m] makes me think of the terrorist and it sounds a bit weird as a nn for me (kind of as if you had the nn [name_m]Ricardo[/name_m] for [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] :p). [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] and [name_m]Leander[/name_m] is a handsome sibset.
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Leander[/name_m] as well and out of the two nicknames, I would go for [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as it’s short and cute.
Also, [name_m]Leander[/name_m] seems the perfect companion for [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] as a sibset as they both have the same feel!
[name_m]Leander[/name_m] is awesome and I like both of your preferred nns. [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] and [name_m]Leander[/name_m] is a very attractive sibset.
I like [name_m]Leander[/name_m] a lot! It’s one of those great fit-in, stand-out names. Either nn would be intuitive and you could even use both on a casual basis. [name_m]Leander[/name_m] and [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] work fine together
I love [name_m]Leander[/name_m] a lot! I prefer [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. It may not be intuitive to some, but I know several [name_m]Leandros[/name_m] who all get [name_m]Leo[/name_m], so why not [name_m]Leander[/name_m] or [name_m]Leandre[/name_m]? I think [name_m]Leander[/name_m] nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is brilliant! And I can definitely see [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] and [name_m]Leander[/name_m] as brothers. That would be a brilliant brother duo! They’re perfect together.
I don’t care for [name_m]Leander[/name_m] but like both [name_m]Anders[/name_m] (my favourite) and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] so I would go straight to either of those.
I like [name_m]Leander[/name_m] a lot, it seems a lot fresher than [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] which it reminds me of.
I would go for [name_m]Anders[/name_m] over [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a NN but only because I know so many little [name_m]Leos[/name_m], I think either NN works well and you could always go for it and see which NN fits once he is a bit older.
[name_m]Leander[/name_m] and [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] are a great sibset [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
