thoughts do you think these could be names?
I think [name_u]Legend[/name_u] has a more attractive sound but is way too much for a child to live up to [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
Legacy is probably easier to live with but the “Leg” sound throws me. What would you call him for a NN, Leggy? (Actually I could see Legacy NN [name_m]Ace[/name_m] working, not that I’m encouraging you to use Legacy as an actual name)
[name_m]Both[/name_m] could be fun, quirky, unexpected middles but I wouldn’t use them up front, personally.
Honestly? I don’t think so. A lot to live up to aren’t they?
No-one is born a legend, they become one!
i wouldn’t use them but i was curious…
Yes to both, I know of a boy named Ledgynd this way]. I have [name_u]Legend[/name_u] on my own list. I have seen both used on babies before. Anything can pretty much be a name once it;s used on a person.
I think they’re both ridiculous names for a person.
[name_u]Legend[/name_u] actually has a history (albeit rather brief) as a legitimate name. I think it even charts. Legacy, on the other hand, makes me think of a dead person’s will. The sound isn’t terribly attractive either. There are better noun names out there.
[name_u]Legend[/name_u] is cool. It’s good for a boy. Legacy sounds more feminine - nn [name_f]Lacy[/name_f]
[name_u]Legend[/name_u] is on my list as a middle name. I’m obsessed with fairytales.
If you like [name_u]Legend[/name_u], then you might like [name_u]Fable[/name_u], [name_m]Quest[/name_m], [name_m]Pan[/name_m], [name_f]Wren[/name_f], [name_m]Bravery[/name_m], [name_u]Story[/name_u], [name_u]Ever[/name_u], [name_f]Lore[/name_f], Myth, Wonder, Elfe, [name_m]Elvyn[/name_m]. A lot of these make great nn for longer names.
ex: [name_f]Lore[/name_f]- Lorien, [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f]. Myth- [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], [name_u]Fable[/name_u] - [name_m]Fabian[/name_m]. [name_u]Ever[/name_u]- [name_u]Everett[/name_u], Everleigh, [name_u]Everest[/name_u]. [name_u]Story[/name_u]- Estoire, [name_f]Astoria[/name_f].
