I know they are very similar but i want to know which one you like most.
([name_m]Lay[/name_m]-uh/[name_m]Thay[/name_m]-uh)
I prefer [name_f]Leia[/name_f]. Very lovely and underused name! [name_f]Theia[/name_f] is okay, it means aunt in my country, so that’ s why I prefer the [name_f]Thea[/name_f] spelling. Both are nice though.
To be honest, both names are awesome … I like both I do like [name_f]Thea[/name_f] too… If I had to pick one would say [name_f]Theia[/name_f] / [name_f]Thea[/name_f] … But [name_f]Leia[/name_f] is awesome too may depend on last name ?? Lol
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Leia[/name_f]. It’s not too popular, but it’s one of those names that I feel like should be. I am also a huge [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars fan, so I think of that… but that is not necessarily a bad thing. A connection to a spunky, sassy, strong, and totally bad*** [name_f]Princess[/name_f] gone [name_m]General[/name_m]? I’d take it
I actually prefer [name_f]Leia[/name_f] objectively, but it’s so tied to [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars that I think I’d use [name_f]Theia[/name_f] for a real person. I think [name_f]Theia[/name_f] would get mixed up with [name_f]Thea[/name_f] a lot, but it’s better than constant references to [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Leia[/name_f] - nothing wrong with the character, but it would get annoying (my daughter’s [name_f]Juno[/name_f], so I know!)
[name_f]Theia[/name_f] definitely. A lovely name.
I never know whether people want a hard T or a soft th with [name_f]Theia[/name_f].
[name_f]Leia[/name_f] is pretty, but I think it would be pronounced [name_f]Leah[/name_f] often.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]?
Definitely [name_f]Theia[/name_f] for me. I think it’s very beautiful, and I love the sound. Soft and mysterious. [name_f]Leia[/name_f] I feel blends in a lot with [name_f]Lena[/name_f] (the [name_m]Lay[/name_m]-na pronunciation), [name_f]Layla[/name_f], [name_f]Leah[/name_f] etc. [name_f]Theia[/name_f] has [name_f]Thea[/name_f], but that’s about it. Plus it has less exposure than [name_f]Leia[/name_f], which is an upside to me. I think it’s quite under appreciated.
I prefer [name_f]Leia[/name_f]. [name_f]Theia[/name_f] sounds and looks a tad odd to me, no offence. I do love [name_f]Thea[/name_f] though, lovely name!
[name_f]Leia[/name_f] is also lovely, and very underused it has a warm, breezy, yet strong feel which I love. When I hear [name_f]Leia[/name_f] I think of a sweet, bouncy, vibrant girl who carries her own personality beautifully and has lots of energy. A great image for a great name!
[name_f]Theia[/name_f]. it is beautiful and won’t be over used in the next couple years!
