Leila, Ella and little sister ????

[name]Hi[/name]. I already have two daughters, [name]Leila[/name] (Pronounced [name]Layla[/name]) and [name]Ella[/name]. We are expecting yet another girl this summer. My top name choices are:

  1. [name]Maya[/name] (husband not a fan of)
  2. [name]Violet[/name]
  3. [name]Ruby[/name]
  4. [name]Kennedy[/name]

What do you think goes best with the other two girls? Or do you have another suggestion of something not super popular and not too unique? All my other favorite names are similar to [name]Leila[/name] and [name]Ella[/name] and I think I need to stay away from them.

I think [name]Leila[/name], [name]Ella[/name], and [name]Violet[/name] are adorable together! [name]Maya[/name] would have been my second choice though.

With [name]Leila[/name] and [name]Ella[/name], I would vary the ending this time so the names don’t begin to run together. Since they are soft, sweet, feminine names, I think that leaves [name]Ruby[/name] as a frontrunner and [name]Violet[/name] as a strong second contender. Of the names you proposed, I like [name]Ruby[/name] the best. But my favorite is actually another poster’s suggestion of [name]Gemma[/name]. [name]Leila[/name], [name]Ella[/name], and [name]Gemma[/name] sounds like a great sibset!

Since the other two are “l” heavy, I might keep the theme but vary the ending:

Or have another name that featured an L, maybe

Or since [name]Leila[/name] starts with “l”, [name]Ella[/name] has an “l” in the middle,
You could put an L at the end for a fun pattern!

Or you can forego the pattern and go with similar fresh and light styles:

I think [name]Maya[/name] works best in the sibset…but I also think that you should chose a name that you both like. The other three have a different feeling to me, with [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] being more vintage, and [name]Kennedy[/name] being a modern surname. None of them would be a horrible choice, but they don’t feel like the same style. [name]Just[/name] personally of those three my favorite would be [name]Violet[/name].
