Thoughts? Pronounced lay-ora
The “eio” spelling is a bit confusing to the eye, I think. I’d suggest [name_f]Leora[/name_f] instead.
I feel that looks like lee-ora.
Lei- like [name_f]Leilani[/name_f]
[name_f]Ora[/name_f]- like eliora
Almost a mashup that would mean heavenly light?
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t. Reminds of leiomyoma.
[name_f]Lenora[/name_f]
Vilora
[name_f]Leila[/name_f]
[name_f]Eileen[/name_f]
I have to say I spontaneously love it. Is it an actual name or a respelling or invention? I’m a sucker for vowel chains such as “eio” but would be interested if the name has a meaning and/or history (can’t find any info). Btw I would pronounce it like you said, [name_m]Lay[/name_m]-ora.
Sounds pretty, but the spelling is odd and many would need to ask how it’s pronounced.
I think [name_m]Lay[/name_m]-ora is gorgeous (I’m a sucker for ‘ay’ sounds and -ora endings), moreso than [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-ora, though that’s still pretty. I probably would still say [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-ora despite the Leiora spelling, but I don’t think it would be impossible to correct.
It has an attractive sound though I prefer [name_f]Liora[/name_f] or [name_f]Leora[/name_f]. Still, it sounds distinctive and I’d like to meet a girl with that name.
I second this! Alternative spelling of [name_f]Leora[/name_f] could be [name_f]Liora[/name_f], just thought I should mention of you are considering this option.
