Leland or Declan?

[name]Declan[/name] or [name]Leland[/name]? Also help with a middle name. [name]Arthur[/name] is a BIG family name & would be nice (favorite) to use but wouldn’t be terrible not using it.

[name]Leland[/name] [name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Leland[/name] [name]Isaac[/name]
[name]Leland[/name] [name]Clark[/name]
[name]Leland[/name] [name]Dune[/name]
[name]Leland[/name] [name]Wade[/name]

[name]Declan[/name] [name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Jude[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Boone[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Rhett[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Clark[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Bo[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Wade[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Wyatt[/name]

3 syllable last name, beginning with H. With our daughter we did 2-1-3 & it sounds so nice. But having a hard time finding a 1 syllable middle name for our boy.

[name]Declan[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] sounds really nice! I legitimately like it better than your other options. [name]Leland[/name] is a tad heavy on the Ls for me.

What’s the surname’s first initial and how many syllables are in it? I’d tread lightly when it comes to using [name]Arthur[/name] for either [name]Declan[/name] or [name]Leland[/name] since it has both two syllables and it sounds kind of monotone for a 2-2-? full name count. Also with a vowel [name]Arthur[/name] as a middle initial you don’t want it all to spell some ([name]Leland[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Tyler[/name] or LAT). When it comes to lelanD [name]Dune[/name], you may also look into trying to avoid having the last letter be the same as beginning letter of another part of the name.

Why don’t you look at the [name]One[/name] Syllable Middle Names For Boys list?

I’d avoid the vowels though L-?-H or D-?-H.

I agree with celianne.
