I was visiting a preschool the other day and saw the name Lenix amongst many others up on the wall. I am quite sure it was one of the girl’s names, but I cannot be certain. WDYT of this? I have never seen this name for a boy or a girl. Upon first seeing it, I though it was a ‘creative’ spelling of [name]Lennox[/name], but the ‘i’ does actually make it sound different from [name]Lennox[/name]. My 2nd thought was that I actlually kind of liked it for a girl. And with nn’s, you could always go with [name]Lex[/name] or [name]Lexi[/name]…I thought that was cute, too.
Your thoughts??
It could be a creative spelling for [name]Lennox[/name] - I’ve seen creative spellings that could technically change the pronunciation. I think Lenix is also a surname, so it could be a family name used as a first name. It’s not my style for a boy or girl, but I think it would be cool if it were a family surname.
[name]Lex[/name] or [name]Lexi[/name] would be a cute nn for Lenix. [name]Lenny[/name] is the first nn that would come to my mind. [name]Nixie[/name] would also be a cute option.
