Lenny?

I’m back, Due to have our second baby boy in [name_u]December[/name_u].

Our first son is [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u].
We are debating a few different names.
Possible options are [name_m]Ben[/name_m], [name_m]Jake[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (we wouldn’t mind stealing this one off of Theos name as it honors my MIL [name_f]Judy[/name_f]).

But lately a new name has been thrown into the mix: [name_u]Lenny[/name_u]. At first I thought it was a bit nuts but the response when we bring it up is overwhelmingly positive. It honors several people in my family ([name_m]Len[/name_m], [name_m]Allen[/name_m], [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]) and I think it can be both cute and cool. But is it too far out there? Does it go well with [name_u]Theo[/name_u]? Also, what about middle names to match the pattern with Theos double middles?

Thanks as always for the feedback!

Lenny and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] are unexpected but i like them!

Lenny [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_u]Lenny[/name_u] [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_u]Lenny[/name_u] [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m]
[name_u]Lenny[/name_u] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]Julian[/name_u]
[name_u]Lenny[/name_u] [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Lenny[/name_u] [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] [name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_u]Lenny[/name_u] [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] [name_u]Reed[/name_u]

I think [name_u]Lenny[/name_u] is really cute and I like [name_m]Len[/name_m] for when he gets older if he wants a more mature name!

I think [name_u]Lenny[/name_u] is awesome with [name_u]Theo[/name_u]! [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] is also nice if you wanted something a bit more formal that can be shortened to [name_u]Lenny[/name_u] (although I don’t think it needs it). I also like the idea of [name_u]Jude[/name_u] with [name_u]Theo[/name_u].

Theo and [name_u]Lenny[/name_u] are a perfect match! Nickname names that work on their own. [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is just a little more established, I guess. I really like [name_u]Lenny[/name_u], actually. I also love that it honors so many people. And I’m not the best with double middles but I think there are some great ones above. Seems like a wonderful option for you

Super cute! I love a good honor name!! I also like the suggestion of [name_u]Lennon[/name_u]

I know a six year boy named [name_u]Lenny[/name_u] who is a bit of a rascal so I find it very wearable. It fits in with the return of other vintage nicknames and relaxed nicknames in general. That makes it a very good match with [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. It’s friendly, easy to spell and pronounce, and most importantly–it’s meaningful to your family. I think it’s worth keeping on the list.

You might not live in the UK, but it may give you some comfort to know that last year there were 369 babies named [name_u]Lenny[/name_u] and it’s currently ranked #151 on the UK chart. It also shares similarities with other well known and well loved names like [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] and [name_m]Johnny[/name_m]. All the best the your decision.
