Leo Alexander due in August

Hey Berries,

I am in need of your advice. We have a baby boy on the way and I’m quite set on the name [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], the latter follows the Greek heritage in my name and the first I just really like.

My mother is a bit of a horoscopes nut and our baby will be born in [name_u]August[/name_u] and therefore a [name_m]Leo[/name_m] by star sign. I don’t believe in that stuff…but is it weird to call a baby [name_m]Leo[/name_m] who’s also a [name_m]Leo[/name_m]?

Am I being to funny about this…I can just imagine my mother going on about this, when really I just love the name. Thanks

I think it’s fine. It makes more sense than him being a different zodiac sign with the name [name_m]Leo[/name_m].

Nope, I honestly don’t think it’s an issue. Especially with a popular, established name like [name_m]Leo[/name_m]! Most people won’t think of your kids star sign (at least I don’t when I meet people) anyway.

An [name_m]Aries[/name_m] who is also an [name_m]Aries[/name_m] I might find a bit more off, only because it’s a name that’s much less frequently used. If you’re really very concerned you could always go with e.g. [name_m]Leon[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and call him [name_m]Leo[/name_m].

I wouldn’t have any concerns about using [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as I really don’t think that is something that people would even think about when introduced to a [name_m]Leo[/name_m] (except perhaps your mother, lol). [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is a handsome choice!

[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t worry about [name_m]Leo[/name_m] being a [name_m]Leo[/name_m] in star sign. Kids won’t ever know about that until he says his star sign (which I don’t think he will say often haha) but I’m 99% sure kids would just think it’s a coincidence and that it is really cool! [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is a really great name!

Not an issue at all (hardly anyone except your mum will think of this and if they did it really doesn’t matter at all). It’s a great name!

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is perfection! I don’t think his star sign matters a jot.

I did notice immediately based on your title, but that’s only because you put his name and expected birth month together and my brother and I are both [name_m]Leos[/name_m], so I know that’s the star sign for most [name_u]August[/name_u] babies. I also just assumed it was a fun coincidence. And most of the people your son meets won’t even know his birthday until they know him pretty well, so it really isn’t an issue.

I think it’s fine, as others have said since [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is such a well known name anyway.

If you were calling him [name_m]Taurus[/name_m] and he was a [name_m]Taurus[/name_m] that might be a different story.

(and idk if my internet is watching everything I type, but I literally have an advert for “Astrology Answers” with a list of all the star signs on the side of my page right now!!!)

I didn’t even make that connection. I don’t think most kids will, either, besides most wont know his birthday. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is a fantastic name :blue_heart:
