Leo all about it

Hey berries,
Multi part question all about [name_m]Leo[/name_m],
What do you think of [name_m]Leo[/name_m]?
can you think of any names it could be short for?
Not keen on [name_m]Leonard[/name_m] -ish names

Like lysander, [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] as full name. [name_m]Jed[/name_m] was nearly [name_u]Elliot[/name_u].

Older brother is our Dear [name_m]Jed[/name_m] fn [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m], but we really only call him [name_m]Jed[/name_m] 90% of the time and would probably do the same with [name_m]Leo[/name_m].

Middle name is likely to be [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] or [name_u]James[/name_u], depending on the full first name we choose.

Well thats everything thats troubling me about [name_m]Leo[/name_m] at the moment,

What do my dear berries think?

What do you think of Leo?

To be honest, I like Leo as a nickname. It feels incomplete as a formal first name.

Can you think of any names it could be short for?

I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] on it’s own without being a nickname. Perhaps that is due to my own name being a diminutive form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but my full name. I would use [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as is personally and I do like it a lot actually.

I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m]! And I think it goes really well with [name_m]Jed[/name_m] as well. Here are some of my favorite full name for [name_m]Leo[/name_m]:

[name_m]Leander[/name_m]
[name_m]Leon[/name_m]
[name_u]Lionel[/name_u]
[name_m]Leopold[/name_m]
[name_m]Leonidas[/name_m]

I have an uncle named [name_m]Leo[/name_m] so I have always thought of it as a fine stand alone name. If you really like the name [name_m]Leo[/name_m], and if you are going to call him [name_m]Leo[/name_m] pretty much all the time then name him [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. I honestly feel it is distinctive and strong on its own.

I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a full name I don’t like [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] or others but I also have a [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]( not [name_m]Charles[/name_m]) and going to be having a [name_u]Max[/name_u]( not [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]) I am big on names as the name you are going to call them and I have always liked [name_m]Leo[/name_m] it’s a great stand alone name:))

I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] stand alone. [name_f]My[/name_f] friend has a [name_m]Leonid[/name_m].

I really like what you said about names as the name you are going to call them. I totally agree.
