We have our first addition to the fam arriving in [name_u]July[/name_u]. Which of the below do you like? [name_m]Leo[/name_m] overlapped both our top 10 lists, and wife is suggesting a longer name which we can shorten to [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a nn-- I happen to love “[name_m]Leo[/name_m]” being the full first name.
I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] best with your last name (and in general) although [name_m]Leon[/name_m] is also nice! I don’t think you need a longer form of [name_m]Leo[/name_m], personally.
[name_f]My[/name_f] fav from those options is [name_m]Leon[/name_m] but if you love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and you agree on it I think you should go for it!
I love [name_u]Lionel[/name_u]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] seeing it mentioned. For some reason, in my circle no one else is fond of it. But I also love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] but appreciate the full nane [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] being used with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a nickname.
I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] by itself but I also really like [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] nicknamed [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as I tend to be a fan of long names that have nicknames and [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] is just super cool in general. [name_m]Leon[/name_m] is also cool but I find it kind of hard to say and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] isn’t really audibly shorter than [name_m]Leon[/name_m] so I just think of them as different names. [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] just isn’t my cup of tea
I prefer to name the child what you plan to call him and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] works perfectly on its own. It sounds great with your last name and I think it just makes life simpler for your son to be named what he will be known as.
For [name_m]Leo[/name_m] I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] and [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m], with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] being my personal favourites.
[name_m]Leon[/name_m] is already so short that I doubt you would use [name_m]Leo[/name_m] much.
Of your name list, I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] works best.
If your were looking for another, my favourite name would be [name_m]Leonel[/name_m]. I can see it being shortened to [name_m]Leo[/name_m] much more so than [name_u]Lionel[/name_u].
I love [name_u]Lionel[/name_u]. There are so many [name_m]Leos[/name_m] out there that [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] would give him a choice. One year I taught 7 - some Leonardos, some [name_m]Leos[/name_m], some [name_m]Leons[/name_m], though I’ve never had a [name_u]Lionel[/name_u].
