I’ve really been considering [name]Leona[/name] lately but I just can’t seem to make up my mind. What do you think of [name]Leona[/name]? What do you picture a [name]Leona[/name] like? Is it too tied to the singer [name]Leona[/name] [name]Lewis[/name]? Thanks for any advice
While it does bring to mind [name]Leona[/name] [name]Lewis[/name], it’s not like she’s a horrible connection or anything. I think [name]Leona[/name] sounds cool and chic, while it’s definitely old, I think it has a fresh, modern feel about it.
I also wanted to add that [name]Leona[/name] is also very versatile. It’s something that could translate easily in other countries and cultures and not feel awkward or have an awful meaning. It’s easily pronounced in multiple languages and the spelling is very straight forward. (These things are always a huge plus for me).
I didn’t even think of [name]Leona[/name] [name]Lewis[/name]. I like the name [name]Leona[/name], but I like most animal names anyway. I think I prefer [name]Leonie[/name].
I like [name]Leona[/name]. I know a teenage girl with the middle name of [name]Leona[/name] after her grandmother, and she’s quite defensive when people remark that it’s “old lady.” She thinks [name]Leona[/name] is gorgeous, and so do I!
I think [name]Leona[/name] is beautiful. I think of beautiful musician [name]Leona[/name] Naess (she makes lovely lovely music, with gorgeous lyrics), not [name]Leona[/name] [name]Lewis[/name].

I love the lion names, but I am more partial to [name]Leonie[/name] (but I like names the end in ie). I don’t know any girls with the name [name]Leona[/name], but one of my great aunts is named [name]Leona[/name] (this shouldn’t dissuade you though). Your daughter could always go by the nicknames [name]LiLi[/name], [name]Lola[/name], or [name]Lona[/name] which are all adorable for little girls.
I like it but I’m never sure if it is pronounced [name]Lee[/name]-Oh-na or [name]Lee[/name]-aw-na?
I also have slightly preferred [name]Leonie[/name] over it too which in my mind is [name]Lee[/name]-aw-nee
