I like it - one of my fav names is [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. It might work as a NN if you are looking for one
A great combination. But I would personally choose Lyonesse [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. But [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a very, very beautiful & stately sounding name. It also has that archaic look which I really love too…I’m usually not enamored by [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] or [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] type names, by [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] is definitely a great sounding name!
I voted for Maybe. It does have a lovely vibe, rich and regal and elegant, a very Old World feel which is what I’m guessing the PP meant by archaic? With its international feel ([name_f]Leonor[/name_f] is very Spanish to me, while [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is [name_m]French[/name_m]- and Catholic) it seems like something that could come out of the days of European empires trading and their royal families intermarrying.
[name_f]My[/name_f] quibble is that it’s quite long and a bit hard to say, flow isn’t optimal. But given how rarely middle names are used, you should be fine. Actually, the more I think about it the more I like it!
I adore [name_f]Leonor[/name_f]. That name has been on my lists since forever and I’m so glad that more people come to love it.
[name_f]Leonor[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. It works but it’s a bit of a style-clash for me. [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] is very Spanish/Portuguese to me, while [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is super [name_m]French[/name_m]. I do like the sound of the combo but find [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] more “fitting” in the way it looks. (Maybe not totally due to the -e E but I hope you get what I mean.)
I wouldn’t shy away from paring it with names of different origins, it’s just that [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is so super [name_m]French[/name_m] (to me). I prefer something like [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f], the [name_m]French[/name_m] is there but it’s more subtle.
